A Bullet in the Bedroom

B.B. Commented:  “Many neighbors, including my daughter, have had items stolen or vandalized. A bullet came through a bedroom window a few months ago in our upstairs flat. The residents, including my 2 grandchildren, were home, but fortunately not in the bedroom at the time. People have tried to break into our garage three times in the last couple of years, something that had never happened since we moved here in 1974. In 1978, while we lived in Houston for a work assignment, my neighbor, Karen, and her two young sons were murdered in their home. I'm doing this for them.”
